Dr. Cao completed his residency training in the Mount Sinai Hospital of New York and the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Cao was assistant professor in Mount Sinai Medical School as well as in the University of Maryland School of Medicine.  Dr. Cao obtained his Ph.D. in Medicine from the University of Newcastle. He has received many national and international academic awards and has published more than 80 articles and books.
